In Legally Blonde, homecoming queen and college sweetheart Elle Woods has everything. She’s a Hawaiian Tropic girl, sorority president, the campus calendar’s Miss June, and, most important of all, a natural blonde. She’s also dating the best looking boy at college and all she wants is to become Mrs Warner Huntington. However, one thing prevents Warner from asking Elle to marry him – she’s just too blonde.
While living across the road from Aaron Spelling means something to people in LA, Warner’s blue blood family scorns such things. Warner heads for Harvard Law School and takes up with a serious girl, but Elle is not the kind of girl who takes no for an answer. She dumps her credit cards, grabs her books and her Chihuahua and sets off for Harvard to prove him wrong and win him back.
Law school turns out to be tough, and she misses the mall and lazy poolside afternoons. Determination keeps her on track as she fights for her guy, her life, herself and for every blonde who has ever had to suffer the indignity of being labelled ‘dumb’. Legally Blonde is a dancing, singing high-spirited comedy that’s so much fun it should be illegal.
