An ageless fantasy about the limitless power of love, Ghost is filled with sorrow and joy as it relates the story of Molly and Sam. When the couple is mugged while walking home to their apartment one evening, Sam is killed on the gloomy street. He is unable to leave his beloved Molly, however, and remains with her as a ghost, unable to affect the living world.
When he discovers that she is in danger, he tries to find a way to warn her, and contacts a fake side street psychic named Oda Mae Brown, who, as it turns out, does have some psychic abilities. Oda Mae has to convince a sceptical and grieving Molly that she is, in fact, in contact with Sam, which proves to be somewhat of a challenge. Despite this, Sam refuses to give up his quest to protect Molly from the villain who threatens her.
